The Truth Behind Churchology: Real Authority

One of things that we must be able to grasp is
the authority that has been dealt evenly to
the church. I am sorry but older saints (not all of them)
have brainwashed the younger ones with “churchism”
whereby they teach the younger ones to seek
a form and fashion rather than seek Christ himself
to go Outside of the four walls and
impact the lives of others.

Now the babes don’t feel secure
In Christ unless they have a title or can exegete
a text in the bible

Religion has torn apart more homes in the church
more than I have ever seen before in my lifetime.

I grew in church watching saints “look the part”
and in private be miserable. When I was little
I used to see married couples look the model
marriage, but in private could not stand each other
and later end up divorcing. I have seen saints leave
a church all because they did not get the position
they desired or didn’t get a chance to preach.

To those of you who have a strong desire to preach or
teach or minister or to operate in your gift, I say to you
What are you waiting for? Go for it! We have an opportunity
to operate in our gifts every single day. We all have the
opportunity to speak into somebody’s life everyday.

To those that are waiting on titles and big platforms to
operate in your gift, I would encourage you to go back
and study Matthew 6:33.

You would be surprised at how many big name preachers
can handle preaching the Gospel but can not handle life.
they hide behind the pulpit and use the platform to camouflage
their insecurities rather than sitting down for 3 months to be
recharged and renewed and refilled afresh. The bible gives us
clear instruction on how to deal with these issues:

Gal 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault,
ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the
spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou
also be tempted.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some,
prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors
and teachers;

Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for
the work of the ministry, for the edifying of
the body of Christ:

Let us begin to cover our pastors and those who have
rule over us. Ministry is a calling. God only knows what
a lot of Pastors go through day after day, week after week,
month after month. Let us no longer put the Pastors
upon pedestals as being “Super Maxi Saved”.
“They still are not exempt from life.”

Everybody reading this letter has a purpose in the earth.
and I pray specifically that everybody finds what it is.

Some of us have made decisions that have cost us time.
BUT GOD……has given us a second chance at life. He has given
us new insight and equipped us with his word to help carry out
our purpose through and by his divine will.

Receive Shalom! (peace) in your spirit today!
Know that God is working things out on your behalf.
He knows you
He knows when to raise you up.
He knows where you are.

Those of you that are challenged with knowing what your purpose is,
I want to drop this scripture right in the center of your forehead!

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD.
"They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a
future and a hope.

Mysteries Revealed Part 2: Panic Room

I remember going through tough times looking
for a job. I experienced rejection after rejection.
I thought that if I got rejected one more time
that I would totally loose it and throw in the
towel. I began to think that my life had no purpose
at all. I even argued with God. I began to
complain to him and say God, “ If you chose me
then WHY AM I IN THIS SITUATION WHY AM I IN THIS MESS!
Why does it feel like the walls are closing in on me?
Does my life hold any meaning at all?
It seemed as though life was against me.

When people would ask me how I was feeling,
I would lie and say I was ok.
I was all confused and therefore could not
extend love to anyone because I did not even
love myself anymore. One day I tied a bag
around my head and tried to suffocate myself.
I was suffocating sitting on the couch and out
of nowhere, the phone rang. I got up and answered
all to find out that there was no one on
the other line. (very weird).

I got up and changed the message on my
cell phone to a suicide message and as I was
recording the message, My mustard seed faith
began to stand up. I was reminded of a prophesy
that was spoken over my life. Now we all know
that God can not lie. So whatever he spoke shall
come to past. So with this prophecy yet to be
fulfilled, I thought I should hold on a little
while longer. I said to God, “I want to see you
get me out of this one!”

To some of you, it feels like every area in
your life is caving in on you. Just when you got
the victory over the soldier here comes the lion,
When you conquer the lion here comes another
solider trying to kill you. Going back and forth
back and forth wondering WHEN WILL IT EVER END?!?!?!?


But isn’t it funny how God does not work on our
time table? Isn’t it funny that in spite of your
weariness, God is giving you enough strength to
read this letter? Isn’t it funny how the devil
thought that he was about get the victory over Jesus?

Against all odds, isn’t it funny how Jesus
overcame death itself and the grave?
What I am trying to say is that regardless of
what you feel, (we as Christians do not
go by what we feel we go by what we know)
Regardless of what your mind is telling you.

You can and will overcome. You will rise up
and become the Sons of God that God has
called you to be. Some of you may not have a
big title BUT YOU DO HAVE A PURPOSE.
And when you come out of your test you don not
have to allow your life to be defined by a
Negative.

God says behold I will do a NEW thing
in you. You are going through a massive
transition. God is cutting some things out your life.
He is also adding some things in your life.
He is giving us a fervency to pray. He is
giving us an urgency to love one another.
He is giving us new insight. He is giving
us new desires. He is giving us new goals.
He is giving some of us the opportunity to
be an answer to somebody’s prayer.

I sense this letter to be somewhat prophetic.

Hold on to your faith. The King of Kings &
Lord of Lords Is On The Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make way for His presence to invade you.
Receive His fullness! Receive His Joy!

Because of your obedience right now to
resist the temptation, He is doing a work
on your behalf!!!

I felt it only appropriate to mention the
significance of the Believer and the Godly
influence that we possess

and the like when they are used in the right context

to empower society’s so-called “nobodies.”

God’s Kingdom.
Celebrities may influence a fashion trend or a catchphrase,
but stars are building an unseen legacy in eternity
that can influence generations to come on earth.
You can either be a bound celebrity, enslaved to
people’s opinions and the kingdom of darkness,
or you can be a star and rule and reign with Christ
in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)!

Gladiator: Don't turn your back

One of the things that was illuminated in a previous service was that
for the first time the youth were attentive to the message because
they were being taught and not entertained. Times are getting so
critical to the point that the kids are sick of being entertained and lied to.
These kids are ready to go. The kids are now coming out of all kinds
of issues: neglect, effeminate issues, worry, insecurity, wrath, etc. Glory to God!
Even the very minds of the kids are beginning to develop faster.
They are excelling academically because they have more
tools at their disposal than the adults had in their youth.
 
The youth pastors and youth leaders can only serve as a supplement for the youth but the parents have to come behind the teaching and enforce it.
A preacher friend of mine told me that you can take vitamins everyday but if you
don’t eat right you’ll still get sick.
 
But what happens when the adults are not delivered from issues?
 
Why do we have preachers and ministers all over the country remixing what
Bishop Jakes, Creflo, Paula White, and Joel Osteen already preached?
 
It is because they want to be like the big time preachers and if they don’t have
a word from God then they have to manufacturer one. It hinders the Word that God
wants to bring forth in them. All of a sudden they have these hopes and dreams of
building mega ministries overnight. It is almost like
they don’t feel significant in God unless they are preaching under a big platform.
This is a problem because just because something is big does not mean that it is healthy.
The reason why the positive messages don’t work anymore is because most times
We only deal with the positive and not the negative. (See scriptures below)
 
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD [are] in every place, beholding the
evil and the good.
 
Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness
therein [is] a breach in the spirit.
 
Proverbs 15:5 A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that
regardeth reproof is prudent.
 
This may be hard to believe but now we have the saints wanting private jets
as though they are so easily attainable for everyone. I don’t mean to come off
hard but all the saints will not have a jet. I’m sorry but that is reality. You got saints all
over the country that can’t even hold down a telephone bill and wanting a jet and perhaps
worse not REALLY understanding the reason why they want what they want in the first place.  
I am embarrassed just talking about this as well as seeing it. But someone has to
address this.
 
So how do we deal with these insecure carnal issues in the church?
 
The answer is simply the word of God. We have to get back to formula.
We have to empower the ones that God has put in our path. Whether you
lead a millionaire to Christ or a poor person, God is no respecter of persons.
You would be surprised how many people preach appeasing messages so that
A football player would start tithing to their church.
We have to stop using entertainment to appease the kids and shut the music OFF
and teach them.
 
God wants to shew us things to come but it is hard sometimes because we have
Fred Hammond blasting so loud. To the Mary and Martha’s out there,
There is a time and place for everything.
 
To the gladiators wherever you are- When you’re fighting, don’t turn your back for a second.
The enemy is waiting to catch you off guard so he can cut off your head. If he can get your
Head he has you. When you put on the helmet of salvation, you can make conscious decisions.
The helmet of salvation makes you secure in Christ whereby you don’t have to outsource
Your identity
 
To those that serve in ministry- If we don’t get a grip on these issues today not tomorrow but TO-DAY
We will just continue to junky for positions because we didn’t get a fair chance at life and
It is still “ABOUT US”  and not the next generation.
 
You can win this fight but you have to have the Attitude of winning.
 
For some the enemy is fighting you because you are a threat to him. Don’t turn you back!!!!!!
God has taken care of your past so that you can keep looking ahead.
If you keep fighting. YOU WILL OVERCOME!!!!!! Those that live Godly shall suffer persecution.

Are you motives in the right place?
Are you ready to serve in ministry? or do you need to sit down and deal with some unresolved issues?
so that you don’t impart waste instead of love in someone’s life.
Are you communicating with people in black and white or shades of gray?
Are you doing kingdom work with the hand of flesh or by His spirit?
Out of the time you have been saved have you gotten results?
Have you asked God to uproot things that have taken years  and years out of your life?

Greetings to All,
 
First of all I just want to say thank you to all of you that have kept me in your prayers.
Thank you to all that have sent words of encouragement. It means a lot to me.
Who would have thought that this blog would reach all the way over in Japan?
God has just really did His thing and for that I am truly grateful. (Now on to the letter)
 
People in order to regain ground with the youth we have to get back to formula.
When need to empower them with the Holy Ghost. I know that sounds weird to some
people but let me explain: The Holy Spirit is not “that thing” that makes you hoop and
holler in church and quote scriptures all day..
 
My friends the Holy Spirit is a practical person that dwells inside of you to lead and
guide you into all truth. It gives you the ability to deal with things that you could not
have dealt with before. It gives you the power to excel.
 
John 16:19 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and
he will shew you things to come.
 
For some of us the reason why God wants you out of a sinful state is so he can shew
you things to come. The reason why God wants us to maintain a consistent
prayer life is so he can shew us things to come. The reason why God wants
us to stop sending text messages during class & church is so he can shew you
things to come. The reason why God wants us to stop arguing with our spouses over pettiness
is so he can shew us things to come. The reason why God wants us to stop
having pre marital sex is so he can shew us things to come. The reason why God
wants us to love our neighbor as our self is so he can shew us things to come.
The reason why God wants us to go from quoting scripture to doing scripture is so he
can shew us things to come. The reason why God wants you to not hate them but
disconnect from some friends is so he can shew you things to come. The reason
why God wants you to stop “worrying” about bills is so he can to shew you things
to come. The reason why God seeks worshipers is because he wants to shew us
things to come. The reason why God wants us to stop defining ourselves by how much money
we make, our careers and what church we go to is so he can shew us things to come.
The reason why God wants us to choose Him this day whom we shall serve
is so he can shew us things to come.
 
Right now He is ready to receive us. The question is will we receive Him?

parental involvement. In Washington, he
sponsored legislation to get more child
support money to children by offering a tax
credit for fathers who pay support, more
efficient collection and penalties for fathers
who don't meet their obligations.

WAIT A MINUTE!

Why should tax credits be offered to
for fathers who pay child support?
Why does a father have to be rewarded
for handling his RESPONSIBILITIES?
What in the world is going on? Let me
just speak to the men for a second.

There is nothing that is worse than a
lazy man than a lazy black man. I know
girls personally that have turned lesbian
all because some jelly back, passive,
indecisive, lackadaisical guy would not
step up and handle his business. Some
teachers have gone to extremes whereby
they have taught the men to take the S off
their chest and it's ok to get emotional
whenever you're feeling down.

Man, put that S back on you're chest!
It's ok for the women to be emotional.
that's how God created them but for the
men he created us to withstand certain things.
He created us to bare some burdens.
He created us to be a covering for the
women. Everywhere you look now,
the WOMEN ARE NOW COVERING THE MEN.
Now we have "Women on the Front Lines"
catch phrases and that is not biblical!
(I explained that in the previous blog)
Women were never made to be put on the front
lines. It was the men that God sent
forth first!. Why would God put his daughters
in jeopardy like that? Why would God allow
the doors of life to be placed in impending danger?
What is that?

Men we not only have the ability to make babies,
we also have the ability to raise them up to be
the men and women they were created to be!

You see in essence the father is the affirmer.
One of his jobs is to speak into the child's life
and let them know who they are. That way the child
does not have to grow up to be 30 and 40 years old
still trying to find out who they are!

If the adults are traveling the country all the
time looking for the breakthrough then all that
means is that the kids don't have one. That's
why we have to and allow God to heal our insecurities
so our children or future kids can have a CHANCE .

Time is critical. Moments are precious.
Where are the gladiators? Where are the men
that will fight for their families, fight for
the next generation till the death?

Made to Win Pt 3: Tag, You're it!

Clearly we are seeing a manifestation of
God's power being demonstrated. And it was done
through and by prayer which involved us
speaking the Word. God is showing us His power
through us. He is showing us what happens when
We get together on one accord. He is showing
us how to relate to one another spirit to spirit
which is the ultimate relationship, not deep
but practical.

Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body
fitly joined together and compacted by that
which every joint supplieth, according to the
effectual working in the measure of every part,
maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of
itself in love.

People of God the enemy loves when we witness
to folks and say, "Creflo said, TD Jakes said,
Bishop said so fort and so on rather than say
What the Word of God declares. My point is this.
We have to get back to the Word of God. I myself
have purchased many books written by some good authors
but whenever I get in trouble I am more circum
to either speak the Word or reference back what
the Word has already said after reacting in my flesh
in some instances. (I'm keeping it real. I'm not
gonna lie) I used to hear good messages with catch
phrases all the time and get excited. But because
my emotions were tied to the message and the little
catch phrases, in the time of trouble, I forgot
them and therefore could not use them.

Let me prove it to you. How many of us have
gotten fired or someone in our family suddenly got
sick and we said, "Favor Aint Fair"..... I'm waiting....

Praying effectively is simply saying what
God has already said in His Word.

Though I truly believe that we all should
always be in some type of a book to build up our
minds, we would not rush to buy half of the (self help)
books that are out there if we became more
committed to prayer and Bible reading. God gives
us pastors to lead us BUT not to Lord over us.

As Christians we have an unction inside of us that
gives us discernment. You have your own anointing.
You have your own ability. This is good because
even though we rely heavy on one another in some
cases for the most part we can overcome according
to the power that worketh in us.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to
do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Think about it. Not all but some authors
out there lives don't mirror what they are writing.
But by us simply applying the Word of God, we see
a change taking place. There is enough power and
enough compatibility between us to survive through
anything. Signs and wonders are not just
going to be following the pastors or the elders
but You too. You're good enough. You're smart enough.
I am not talking to Bishop Jakes. I am talking to YOU.
God chose you because he knows you will get the job done.

Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against
the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries:
but the people that do know their God shall be
strong, and do [exploits].

Made to Win Pt 2: Stay Tuned

To those of you that have been following
God by faith, To those of you that have
been praying diligently and still have not
seen a change. Just know that your prayers
are building EQUITY. God has more than what
your praying for stored up for you. It is
just in His timing to release it. I know what
it feels like to have life knock the wind out
of you. You may have suffered for a while now
but just know that you haven’t lost a thing.
Stay Encouraged. Stay Prayerful. Stay Saved.

Made to Win: Checks and Balances

Let me just start off by saying

Whenever I write a blog, I only write what I hear
God instructing me to write. To whomever reads
the blog, If you are able to salvage any truth
from it, then I think it is well worth it. I am
not into writing for the sake of drawing traffic
toward this blog. I just plant the seed, someone
else waters it and God gives the increase.

I do not believe in manufacturing a blog where
by I write something just to write it God may be
speaking to me for a week about something. He may
be speaking to me once a month but for whatever reason,
I sense that we all need what we need to become better
kingdom oriented to remain on the right path.
(Now on to my letter).

To the future business owners- before you start
your business plans first figure out your exit strategy.
How much money do you ultimately want to generate annually
in your business? (10000 a year, a million a year?)
Answering this question will eliminate the (love of money)
where by you don’t become greedy and begin to covet what
someone else has. That way you are secure in your business.
Others companies may be making less. others may be
making more but its ok because you are secure
in meeting your own target goals.

To the ones who are in a pinch, seeking a
better life, better relationships, better goals,
I will say ask yourself, “Am I getting everything
I can out of the today?” “Am I maximizing every
opportunity that has been placed in my hands?”
(2 Peter 1:10)

I know it gets hard sometimes and although nobody
and I mean nobody has mastered this life but Jesus,
still his mercies are made new every morning but
not so we can take it for granted but to continue
on in spite of our past to enter into the promise
land. In the promise land there is no lack. In
the promise land there is abundance. In the promise
land there is security. In the promise land lies
your inheritance. There are some of us that are just
one step away from it.
(Hebrews 11:3) Through faith we understand that the
worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things
which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

For some who are on the verge of giving up,
I command you to “Stand up!” For those who don’t
feel like you can overcome the sin that you’re in,
“Stand up!”
Ephisians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole
armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand
in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

God is not finished with you! Think back to those
things that God has spoken over your life
that have not come to past yet. Remember God is
married to his word and His word does not return
to Him void. If it did, He would be a liar and
He can do anything but lie.
You are made to prosper.
(2 Timothy 1:9) Who hath saved us, and called
[us] with an holy calling, not according to our works,
but according to his own purpose and grace,
which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Still Waters Part 3: Rightly Dividing the Issues

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest
to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,
I will also forget thy children.

Saints as we journey though life we do encounter
many issues. As I look back at my life, I begin
to understand that a lot of life’s problems that
I was encumbered with were cause by myself.
I would come to the altar and lay my burdens down
but, there where some burdens that God did not remove.
He handed them right back to me and said deal with it.
I remember when I was struggling financially. I came
to church, cried the tears, bleed on the altar but the
bills still kept coming. It wasn’t that God
removed the debt. but he gave me the grace to deal
with it because if he would have gotten me out of
it instantly, I most likely would have eventually
been back in the same situation I got myself into.

I remember when I used to give sacrificial
Offerings to become rich in a week, but unfortunately
it did not come to pass as quickly as I anticipated.
God allowed the children of Israel to wonder
around for forty years until they died all because
they did not deal with their issues.

There are decisions that we have
Made that we are still paying for but God’s
grace is sufficient for us. This gives us a realistic
view of real life. Everybody is not getting a jet.
Everybody is not getting a Bentley.
Everybody is not getting a worldwide ministry.
But in spite of our past together we can raise
up a strong generation so that we develop a
Posterity.

1 Timothy 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and
endless genealogies, which minister questions,
rather than godly edifying which is in faith: [so do].

But today is the day that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
TODAY IS THE DAY THAT WE BEGIN TO DEAL WITH OUR ISSUES.
Today is the day that we begin to move forward.
Today is the day that we stop bringing up our past
to justify why we can’t get further.
Today is the day that we begin to operate in God’s Power.
Today is the day where we begin to not (just) shout,
dance, sing, fall out in the floor,
but pay our bills on time, spend time with our
kids, go back to school to educate ourselves to
know how to manage and flip a million dollars
into 20 million dollars.

See the devil understands what’s going on
because he knows that If we continue to sit back
passive then we will not operate in our God
Given authority and be radical enough to make
something happen NOT JUST DURING CHURCH
BUT CONTINUALLY!!!

Saints I have no reason to lie to you.
I have yet nor will I ever ask for an offering to support this blog.
I am more concerned with us just getting a good understanding of what is going on
and what to do about it.

Still Waters Part 2: Moving On

There times in our lives when we go through
things that deeply hurt us. However through the
Holy Spirit we have the advantage to move past it.
If we are not careful, as time passes, we can miss
out on the opportunity to bring closure to certain
issues that eat away at us.

Footnote: It is dangerous to live life with
a question mark over your head. So the question arises,
How bad do we want closure? What issues have been
plaguing you that can be resolved today, or this week,
or maybe this month. A friend of mine told me that,
“you can’t drive forward looking into a rearview mirror.”

I remember going through issues where by
I was focusing so much on my past rather than
the opportunities that were standing right in
front of me. Bitterness can become a stumbling
block that deteriorates the quality of life whereby
the savor is gone out of it. (Hebrews 12:15)

When we make the decision to move on in spite
of what happened in times past,We have better advantage
over life, and through forgiveness, we can have mercy upon
others. We are not finished living yet. God knows
when the next time we will need a “get out of jail
free card.” (Matthew 5:7)

If we believe that this is the day that the Lord has
made why are we not rejoicing? This is real true faith
because rejoicing in the midst of an issue does not make
sense to the mind. That is why we walk by faith and
not by our feelings. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

To some it may not be a time to rejoice but to be
still and know that He is God. Now I understand that
is takes work, but let us at least get back in the fight and
finish what we started. What fight? The fight of
overcoming ourselves so that the Christ in us can show
face in a plain, practical, pragmatic, down to earth way.
(John 16:33) (2 Peter 2:19)

Just know that God promised that he will not with
hold any “Good Thing” from you. (Psalms 84:11)

As we lay hold of these sacred trues, we get closer and
closer to our destiny. Let us not build a house where God
wants a tent. Let us move on. Let us move on.

Still Waters: The Point System

When God leads us beside still waters, we see ourselves clearly to make any necessary adjustments. (Psalms 23:2)

Saints believe it or not “THERE ARE NO SCORE CARDS IN HEAVEN”
When I was growing up, I was taught the one’s that attended church every time the doors flung open, the most articulate, the one’s who are on every committee, and the best singers are the most righteous and the most anointed in the whole church. Although doing good works and expressing our gifts and talents to God is a great thing, we can not allow ourselves to be justified by them. (Isaiah 64:6)

God is not concerned with how many days you attend church per week,
How many times you prayed yesterday, how many times you have helped someone,
how many times you fasted, how many times you cried, how many times you sinned, how many times you struggled, how many times you were neglected, how many times you were ostracized, how many cakes you made for the bake sale, how you helped the chicken frying committee, how many years you have been on the usher board, how many years you been preaching the gospel. How many clothes you have given to the Goodwill, how much money you have given in church and how many platforms you have stood on to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 2:16)

We have to understand our divinity in Christ. Jesus came so that we may have life, not church. He came so that we can enjoy one another in Him. When we do this, there is no room for insecurity, no room for worry, no room for anxiety because we all share the same spirit. We may have issues from time to time but ultimately as long as we stay connected to God. We will not just survive but Triumph! We will not just over come the enemy but overcome ourselves. That is why it is so important for us to give God every insecurity that we have harbored from our childhood to present so that we do not outsource a filler for who God say’s we really are. Away with keeping a point system to prove to people that we are over something that happened to us. Resist the temptation to bring up past hurts and past pains, using them as points to make you to always look like the victim. Bitterness from past hurts and past pains serve as a mark that holds you back from entering into paradise (Philippians 3:13)

Here are a few keys:

1) Righteousness is not something you earn, it is something you inherit. (Romans 8:17)
2) The word of God is the charger that you hook to your spirit to power you up.
3) Deny who you are to get what you never had. (Matthew 16:24)
4) When you worship, there is no room for insecurity. (Genesis 22:5)
5) Seeing your circumstance as God sees it will change your perspective. (Matthew 21:14)
6) Doing the same thing expecting a different result will not provoke change.
7) Forgiveness will create paradise in your garden. (1Kings 8:36)
8) Knowing who you are in Christ will sustain you through it all. (Colossians 1:27)
9) Self pity will cause you to loose one of the most precious commodities that God could ever give you, TIME.
10) Do not allow your life to be centered around a negative. Example: “People said that I would never be anything , People said that I would not be successful, People said that I would never get a job, but look at me now baby, I am blessed and highly favored”

The Secret to Overcoming Part 3: Giving

2 Cr 8:10 I suggest that you finish what you started a year ago, for you were the first to propose this idea, and you were the first to begin doing something about it.
2 Cr 8:11 Now you should carry this project through to completion just as enthusiastically as you began it. Give whatever you can according to what you have.
2 Cr 8:12 If you are really eager to give, it isn't important how much you are able to give. God wants you to give what you have, not what you don't have.
2 Cr 8:13 Of course, I don't mean you should give so much that you suffer from having too little. I only mean that there should be some equality.
2 Cr 8:14 Right now you have plenty and can help them. Then at some other time they can share with you when you need it. In this way, everyone's needs will be met.

Remember that thing that you started last year that you were enthused about and gave up on a few months later after you started it. Please know that every vision and every dream that God gives you will not, does not and can not mature overnight. There are tools that you have at your disposal to deal with these perilous times (2 Tim 3:16). There is a process that you have to go through in order for that thing that God spoke to you to come to past. This passage of scripture puts giving in its proper context. Everyone may not be able to give to the same degree socially, financially, educationally and economically. This is why unity is so important because it creates an environment for us as Christians to exchange strengths with one another where by we use each other (but not abuse one another).
When we follow these principles, we help increase each other’s capacity to give in different areas. If we are in Christ, we have the power to bare the fruit of the Spirit which exudes love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, and faith. (Gal 5:22). Some areas of the Spirit need to be cultivated more than others in us. As we come together, our faith becomes fortified and our fruit will remain. (John 15:16)

2 Cr 8:15 As it is written, He that [had gathered] much had nothing over; and he that [had gathered] little had no lack.
One last note I want to urge some of you to be mindful of lascivious spending whereby you use the credit card for “Everything” .I know I’m in your business but it is very hard to position ourselves to possess the land while being bound to a perpetual habit. “There will always be a sale”.
