Comfort in Crisis

I understand that a lot of letters that I write are tough whereby
they are meant to call us to a level of accountability.
My prayer is for us all to transition from being believers to
becoming disciples whereby we don’t just stand with God but follow Him.

There is heaviness in the atmosphere.
Many of us are going through issues, problems, struggles
that we cant even talk to anybody about.
There are things that are coming out of left field at you.
You are still trying to figure out why so much hurt is
coming at you to destroy you.

You feel like you are in the garden of Gethsemane extremely tired and depressed.
You feel weary and wounded. You’re a tough person. You’re a strong person
But right now you’re vulnerable and satan desires to sift you wheat.

It seems as though everything around you is changing.
It is so good to know that the only thing that has not changed is God.

The reason why you are going through what you are going through is part of the fulfillment
of the Word of God in your life. God’s strength is made perfect in weakness.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (New International Version)
9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
I know it’s hard but every time Jesus was whipped with the cat of nine tails, he bore our hurts and pains.
He protected us. He shielded us from being devoured forever.

You will get through this season just continue to trust God
Even when you can’t see Him , hear Him, or touch Him.
just know that God is always there.

My brothers and sisters I pray that that God fulfills what you stand in need of.

By His Grace & Mercy

Psalm 4:8
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone,
O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 29:11
The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD
blesses his people with peace.

Isaiah 66:12
For this is what the LORD says: "I will extend peace to
her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding
stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled
on her knees.

Myths & Questions

With all the vast religions that are plaguing our world
today, I felt that a practical overview of religion was very
much needed. As this world is coming to a close you
are going to be confronted in the days to come from
people that are lost and unsure of their faith and what to choose.

First of all let me start off by saying that
Scientology makes no sense what so ever.
If you can believe this dumb and dwarfed religion
then you can certainly believe that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Here is a snippet from the Scientology website:
Scientology is about the individual man or woman.
Its goal is to bring an individual to a sufficient understanding
of himself and his life and free him to improve conditions
in the way that he sees fit.

Ok so from reading this snippet it lets us know that what
Scientology in essence is all about (self righteousness).
It’s no wonder why it’s spreading so quickly because in
Scientology, the only one you have to submit to is you.
It comes into alignment with a lot of what we see in the media
in which about 90% of it is about self.
You see if you have the ability to correct all the your problems
and issues, then all the glory will go to you.

You are a masterpiece and out of everyone in the world,
there is no one quite like you. If you believe that then you have
to know that you have a master. Your master is the one
that has created you, the one that informs you and
makes you in to the person you were predestined to be.

Scientology only deals with the life on earth right now
which leads me to my first question.

Why do we even come to church? Is it to flirt? Is it to solicit products?
Is it to perform? I am referring to our main focus for going to church.

Because if all I need to do is to achieve and just excel in
this life then I don’t need church. Scientology will fit well into My time
and purpose (on earth). There is one problem. I can’t die because
there is no provision of scientology in the after life.

We come to church is to get empowered right? but empowered to do what?
to get a car?, to get a house?, to get a wife?, to get a position?
Now I am very sensitive to the current needs of what all of us are facing.
The point I am making is that I am concerned the temporal things we are
stretching our faith on.

Footnote: We will always have needs but those needs do not always
have to overwhelm us.

We have to position ourselves as the sons of God…

Be watchful

Bobby

Suggested reading & declaring:
Romans 8:14-27
14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
15For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!
16The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
17And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
18[But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and [g]for us and [h]conferred on us!
19For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].
20For the creation (nature) was subjected to [i]frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it--[yet] with the hope(D)
21That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God's children.
22We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.(E)
23And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the first fruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God's sons).
24For in [this] hope we were saved. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees?
25But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure.
26So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
27And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's sons.

The Celebration

Matthew 22:1-10 (The Message)
The Story of the Wedding Banquet
1-3 Jesus responded by telling still more stories. "God's kingdom," he said, "is
like a king who threw a wedding banquet for his son. He sent out servants to
call in all the invited guests. And they wouldn't come!
4"He sent out another round of servants, instructing them to tell the guests, 'Look, everything is on the table, the prime rib is ready for carving. Come to the feast!' 5-7"They only shrugged their shoulders and went off, one to weed his garden, another to work in his shop. The rest, with nothing better to do, beat up on the messengers and then killed them. The king was outraged and sent his soldiers to destroy those thugs and level their city.
8-10"Then he told his servants, 'We have a wedding banquet all prepared but no guests. The ones I invited weren't up to it. Go out into the busiest intersections in town and invite anyone you find to the banquet.' The servants went out on the streets and rounded up everyone they laid eyes on, good and bad, regardless. And so the banquet was on—every place filled.
God knows the end from the beginning. No matter what, the seats of honor will be filled to capacity.
It is a wonderful thing to know that all of us have a place in the Kingdom. God has a purpose
and a plan for our lives. He has given us a gift that money can not buy and that is “righteousness.”
God himself has hand selected you and invited you to His son’s banquet. Will you attend?
This is a banquet that you don’t have to purchase a ticket for and don’t have to work for.

Saints the only people who are supposed to be stressed out about economy, food, jobs, etc
are people who are not saved, because people who are not saved have no hope.
I know that may sound a little far fetched but come on people. The devil is trying to
disrupt our focus and that is “Worship.” The thing that makes a powerful testimony
is that we as Christians are not concerned with the cares of This World because we
are not of it. That’s what makes us a peculiar people
because we can withdraw from our heavenly treasures and know that in essence
that we as believers will NEVER be impoverished. The economy of heaven has always
been thriving. Just because things are not moving on your behalf in the natural does
not mean that God is not making provisions in the spiritual and if you trust God through it all,
you will come out as pure gold.

So no matter where you are in life or how much money you have or if you have a job or not,
Run to the banquet and grab a seat. Those of you who have strayed away who cares, give yourself
to Him. Jesus is so soon to come. When you die, the only thing that you are taking
with you is your character. It is more important to be spiritually correct than politically correct.
The seats are filling up quick. All are welcome and after the last seat is filled the doors will be shut.

People will always need a job. People will always have bills but also God will always be praised At All Times
Selah Don’t loose focus. Enter into His rest and don’t worry. As you abide in Him he will abide in you.

Until His Great Return

Refuge

Psa 9:9
The LORD also will be a refuge for the
oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

The Apostle Paul was believed to have written the epistles:
Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon from
prison walls.

John was locked up on the island of Patmos when he wrote
the book of Revelations. He even went on to say in
Rev 1:10
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard
behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
His body was in the prison but his spirit was with the Lord.
When you enter in the spirit realm, your mind escapes the
tangible realm whereby natural things may exist but you don’t
have to be subject to them.
Hbr 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds
were framed by the word of God, so that things
which are seen were not made of things which
do appear.
You may be going through some struggles and issues right now
but I pray that your faith does not fail. There is someone right now
that is contemplating giving up on their faith in God and I say to you
my friend hold fast. God has not forgotten about you. You may not have
a job but God has not forgot about you. You may not have finish school
yet but God has not forgotten about you. You may not t be married yet
but God….

Allow Jesus blood to flow into the places where you have been wounded
And hurt. There some of you that have perhaps done some things that
you are struggling to live down and every time you try to forget about it,
your mind keeps bringing it back up again. It is not worth it.
Forgive yourselves and learn from your mistakes and go in peace.

I just pray that God continues to keep you, edify you, comfort and
encourage you during this season. As you continue to walk with God during
these hard times, savor everything that he is teaching you. There is
a future for you. There are assignments for you. There is a purpose
for you to go out and ultimately spread the love of Christ because
for every situation you are going through there is always someone who is
going through worse than you. Through it all God is faithful.

Love You All

Forgiving You Forgiving Me

Mat 6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Forgiveness can be used as a vehicle
to launch you to the next level of grace.
Forgiveness is a key that can free you
from your past. If we harbor unforgiveness
long enough it will turn into bitterness.
Bitterness will then begin to eat away at
you by draining you mentally and physically.

Unforgiveness is a sin that will blind you
in your walk with God whereby it hinders
you from being effective. Unforgiveness
serves as a weight that “believers” were
never meant to bare.

One of the things I leaned the hard way is
that whenever I harbor unforgiveness, what
I am really saying is, “God I don’t trust
you to deal this person therefore I have to
take matters in my own hands”.

Instead we should look at the offense as
God’s sees it and say, “even though it hurt
me, I will forgive in spite of as
God has forgiven me over 2000 years ago.
I understand that this is a process but in
order to maintain the victory we must
apply it in our everyday lives and work at it.

No worries No worries

On a quick note, there are some of you
that have gotten discouraged
In this season I just wanted to encourage you and say:
(I am really not talking about sin,
I am referring to life.)
Be careful not to base your progress on
the timing of men But rather the timing
of God. You may feel like you should be
further than where you are now but the
truth of the matter is you are getting
closer than you think and as you stay with
God you will see that you were winning all
along. When Mary was pregnant with Jesus
she endured some hard times but the miracle
that she she birthed dimmed in comparison
to the journey she endured.
Just know that you are carrying a miracle
inside of you and before It seems like all
hope is lost God will lift you up out of a
pile of ashes treating you as princes and
princesses seating in the seats of honor.

Live Life Abundantly

Suggested Reading:

Luk 20:38
For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living:
for all live unto him.

Jhn 6:51
I am the living bread which came down from heaven:
if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever:
and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will
give for the life of the world.

1Cr 2:5
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men,
but in the power of God.

Mat 1:23
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth
a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being
interpreted is, God with us.

A New Canvas

Mat 9:17
Neither do men put new wine into old bottles:
else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out,
and the bottles perish: but they put new wine
into new bottles, and both are preserved.

One of the ways that the enemy can trip us up is
walking the past. There are some things in your life you
ought not bring up ever again. I am not talking about forgetting
some things because there are tests you go through whereby
you learn from them but I am talking about when you begin to
constantly begin to rehearse your past by always bringing it up.

If someone hurt you, learn to let it go. Consider it a seed sewn
on your behalf because you never know when you may need
the same grace & mercy extended to you.

Haven’t you ever held a person hostage in your mind?
When you do that, you are obviously not over what the
other party did to you. They could be moving on with their
lives while you remain secretly miserable. Even if was not
your fault, learn to pray not against the person but the
actions of the person. God may not love our actions all
the time but he does love us. Just because you made a
bad decision does not make you a bad person. There is
hope for you to heal and recover from circumstances and
situations.

It is difficult to preserve godly counsel about an issue if
that issue has set up a residence in your mind. Walking
with God requires flexibility. You don’t have to base your
life on what happened in the past. Sometimes we have to
reanalyze our expectations with people. Some of our expectations
are too high and on the other hand some expectations are too low.

When we let the past be the past we can think more clearly and
focus on the future which will present new opportunities.

Just remember, when your past threatens to come into
where you are now, don’t take it lightly and rebuke it quickly.
Be careful of the comparisons you make between old and new
relationships. Continue to walk into the future and receive
the direction of God so that new wisdom can be preserved.

With Love

Bobby
