Silent Victory: When it get's down to it.

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange
concerning the fiery trial which is to try
you, as though some strange thing happened
unto you:

God has purpose in the process. Right now
I know things are getting harder. You may
be contemplating having an abortion. You
may be on the verge of committing suicide.
You may be facing a tough time financially.
You may be tempted to forfeit your virginity.
You may be tempted to get a divorce but whatever
the issue is, hold fast to your confession!

We all have sinned and come short but don’t
give up1 Take a second stand in your faith.
We are in a season now where you can’t shout
over everything.
This is a time when you have to be still………
and know that he is God!

A couple of Sundays ago, the preacher
told everyone to turn around as a symbol
of our faith for our situation to change.
A worshipper began to get mad because I did
not turn around with everybody else.
The person thought that the power was in the
the turn when in actuality the power was in
the silence.
I had to be still……… and know that he is God.
Ecc 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

Please know that there is a reason that
you are going through what you are going through.
God did not bring you this far to leave you.

Know that when you talk to God he hears you.
Know that you can access God at any given moment.
Know that he is not just with you
when things are convenient but when things
are inconvenient. (Psalms 46:1)

Let us take a week and focus on somebody
else’s problem other than our own.
When you focus on your issues, they
begin to magnify and overwhelm you.
When you focus on another person’s
issues peace, sensitivity,
and unselfishness is restored to your soul.
